Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born 17th October, 1992) is an acclaimed Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil films as well as Telugu films, and also in a few of Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri an actress in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). Her other awards include the three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South as well as three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar's parents are film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her acting journey began at the beginning of 2000. She starred in her debut major part as a lead actress in Geethaanjali (2013) in which was a Malayalam motion picture. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The movie was not a success at the box office. The film she released was her debut, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015. The film was starring Vikram Prbhu. It was not an immediate success in the box office. To accommodate larger projects, due to her crazier schedule, she was forced to opt from a few films which she then began working on. This included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a romantic comedy) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the end, she worked on two films with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the lead character on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film has been being delayed from 2015 with the possibility of release in September, 2020 with a brand name change to Janakitho Nenu. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja which starred Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy played the lead role in Bairavaa produced by Bharathan and with actor Vijay. In the year 2017, Keerthy was on the screen in Tamil film PaambhuSattai, as well as Telugu movie Nenu Local.
