Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer famous for his distinct mix of soul gospel jazz R&B and R&B. From Broadway to European clubs and festivals, Sunshine has performed everywhere. Sunshine has been born Denise White. While she is living in Atlanta now, Sunshine is originally from Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she started out as a musician, singing and playing at the church in town. After attending Spellman College, Atlanta she began her musical journey on the Atlanta's R&B musical scene. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals Stalk You A House 12 was only released in Japan. It's been remixed many times, and has become a staple of her live show. She has also contributed her voice to the soundtrack for The Fighting Temptations. The year 2005 saw Tyler Perry hired her as the principal keyboardist on his stage play Meet the Browns. In 2007, Grammy and Tony Award-winning vocalist Jennifer Holliday sought her out to become the choral director for the stage production of Dreamgirls in the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine was noticed by all of the country during daily performances of four at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine followed up with being requested to sing with the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
